| Along
with our 3 General Medicine Veterinarians, we also have a Board
Certified Internal Medicine Specialist on staff who has a special
interest in Oncology. Visit our Staff section
for a biography of our staff.
Our 11,000 square foot facility includes
our hospital area, a separate boarding facility
for our feline and canine patients, doggie
daycare center, dog training arena,
as well as an outdoor play area.
We are very active in the community.
We believe pets play a very important role in our lives. We support
many organizations, including Canine Companions for Independence
(CCI) treating their dogs for free since we started with them in
1995. We also work with Palm Beach Pet Rescue, many Breed rescue
organizations as well as Animals 101, a non profit humane education
program. Dr. Berkenblit established a pet facilitated therapy program
for Hospice of Palm Beach County, has taken our clinic Dog, Hey-Mon
to local schools to educate children on how to care for and respect
animals, as well as how to act around pets, so as not to get bitten.
(an interesting fact – ½ of all the children in this
county have been bitten by animals by the time they reach the 12th
grade) |
